Trivia:

Ben E. King's first solo hit following his departure from R&B vocal group The Drifters was "Spanish Harlem". Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller produced the track. The former co-wrote the song with Phil Spector. Aretha Franklin covered the hit 11 years later. In 1971, her remake fared better - topping the Soul Chart and reaching #2 on the Pop listing.
