LOVE NEVER FELT SO GOOD

Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake

This duet was completed posthumously. Justin Timberlake’s vocal was inserted onto a demo recorded by Michael in 1983. This was originally an idea created by the latter with Paul Anka. Two versions of “Love Never Felt So Good” were developed: a solo recording by Michael and the duet with Tomberlake. The latter was a Top 10 hit in America, the UK, Europe, South Korea, Mexico, Lebanon, Israel and South Africa.

As well as co-writing this disco-flavoured hit, Hal Davis produced the title track for the brothers’ ninth Motown album. In 1974, the single topped the Soul Chart and reached #2 Pop. Its success revived the group’s chart fortunes, becoming its first Top 10 hit since 1971’s “Sugar Daddy”.
