Trivia:

Once recorded, the members of the group America could not see the potential of "A Horse With No Name". Written by the band's singer / guitarist Dewey Bunnell at the age of 19, this was the result of him reminiscing about his early years in American deserts before his family relocated to England. Fortunately, the label insisted on releasing this as the group's debut single.
