Eurovision Facts — Eurovision Fact #59:Eurovision in its infancy remained a very respectable and conservative event. Over the decades, many stunts have been incorporated. The first proved to be scandalous in 1957. Audiences were offended when the Danish performers engaged in a kiss that lasted for 11 seconds! The controversial stunt must not have alienated too many in the juries given that the song finished third.
