CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#930-926 20 -a -day special fast track...

#930 IT'S A HARD LIFE Queen
"It's a Hard Life" is another underrated single from the amazing rock group Queen. Written by Freddie Mercury for inclusion on the band's 'The Works' album, it was issued as a single in 1984. The disc reached #6 in their native Britain.

#929 WATER OF LOVE Dire Straits
Dire Straits' first LP arrived in 1978. It was a fitting collectoin of songs to introduce the new rock group, establishing their credentials as musicians. Lead singer/ guitarist Mark Knopfler wrote "Water of Love" for this self-titled album. Released the following year as a single, the track only charted in Australia.

#928 CATCH ME I'M FALLING Real Life
Released a year after their debut hit single "Send me an Angel", "Catch Me I'm Falling" became Real Life's second Top 10 single. As was the case with its predecessor, members David Sterry and Richard Zatorski co-wrote this song. It too charted in the US as well as in other countries.

#927 FIND THE RIVER R.E.M.
R.E.M. unleashed their best album in 1992. 'Automatic for the People' was packed with well crafted songs that pushed beyond where they had gone before in a musical sense. "Find the River", again credited to all members of the band, is part folksy, and part alternative. The lyrics paint a vivid image and, dealing with closure as it does, serve as the perfect conclusion for the album.

#926 SLIP SLIDIN' AWAY Paul Simon
Paul Simon's solo career was off and running by the time he released "Slip Slidin' Away" in 1977. The cut was added to a compilation album issued at that time entitled 'Greatest Hits, Etc.'. Along with penning the song, Simon co-produced the track with Phil Ramone. On the US singles chart, the song peaked at #5.
