-Britney Spears stars in her 1st feature film: 'Crossroads'.
-TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes dies in a car crash.
-"We Will Rock You" the musical made up of Queen songs opens in London.
-Paul McCartney marries Heather Mills.
-"American Idol" premieres on US TV.
-The Who's John Entwhistle is found dead.
-Napster is shut down for good.
-Kelly Clarkson wins the 1st season of "American Idol".
-Jam Master Jay is shot dead. Run-DMC announces its split.
-Michael Jackson dangles his infant son over a balcony.
-The Concert for George (Harrison) is held.
