This was the last Bond movie scored by John Barry. Although a-ha got to sing the title song for ‘The Living Daylights’, The Pretenders contributed two songs to the film’s soundtrack album: “Where Has Everybody Gone” and “If There Was A Man”.

Barry co-wrote the latter with lead singer Chrissie Hynde. He also co-produced the track, with Paul O’Duffy. “If There Was A Man” can be heard over the end credits and acts as the film’s ‘Love theme’.
