One of the new tracks included on the double album compilation which was divided into two halves: Cool Down and Throw Down. “Fine” was on the latter disc. Raphael Saadiq co-wrote the song with Kamaal Fareed. The former also co-produced the cut with Q-Tip.

Whitney’s remake of the Stevie Wonder 1967 Motown hit “I Was Made To Love Her” required a gender switch and was included as a hidden track at the end of the ‘My Love Is Your Love’ album. Whitney’s interpretation was produced by Lauryn Hill.
