Trivia:

Carl Douglas was born in Jamaica and raised in California before relocating to England where he eventually launched his musical career. Years later, Douglas penned a song about the kung fu craze. Initially only intended as B-side throw away, "Kung Fu Fighting" was recorded in just 10 minutes. The label insisted the song should be the A-side. It sold 9 million copies internationally.
