LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO

“Look What You Made Me Do” was dropped to the public prior to the release of Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album. She co-produced this single with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff. Both were also among the song’s writers, alongside Fred and brothers Richard Fairbass and Rob Manzoli from the British group Right Said Fred (best remembered for the international hit “I’m Too Sexy”).

The single became Swift’s fifth single to reach the top in America where it resided for three consecutive weeks. It was also a #1 in the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Malaysia, the Phillipines and Israel.

‘Reputation’ followed in November. It would be her last album released by Big Machine Records. The disc spent four non-consecutive weeks at the top in the U.S.A. It also made #1 in Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and various European countries.

Swift scored another Top 10 hit with “…Ready For It?”. Next, “End Game” and “Delicate”  (a new collaboration with Ed Sheeran, that also featured Future) reached the Top 20. These releases kept Swift on the world charts during 2018. More success was in store for her the next year.
