Craig David first charted providing vocals on The Artful Dodger's UK #2 garage hit "Re-Rewind (The Crowd Say Bo Selecta)" in 1999. The following year, "Fill Me In" was released. This was David's debut solo single. It was lifted off his first album 'Born To Do It'. David co-wrote the song with its producer Mark Hill.
