TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#1081 THE NIGHT HAS A THOUSAND EYES Bobby Vee
Teen idol Bobby Vee shifted musical gears when he recorded "The Night Has A Thousand Eyes" for the film of the same name. Moving closer to pop than his rock 'n roll roots, Vee's delivery is perfect for the time, augmented ably by producer Snuff Garrett. The song was written by Ben Weisman, Dorothy Wayne and Marilyn Garrett. The former had penned songs for Elvis Presley's film projects. The hit single was produced by Tommy "Snuff" Garrett. It remains one of the best examples of pop/ rock of  1962.
