Alma
France is one of the 5 countries that automatically proceed to the Eurovision Song Contest's Grand Final. In 2017, the French entry was performed by Alma. "Requiem", sung in French with some lyrics in English, finished 12th out of a field of 26 songs.

Canadian artist The Weeknd unleashed his 3rd studio album 'Starboy' in late 2016. "Die For You" was one of its singles.

WHERE I AM
Anja
Anja Nissen was born in Australia to Danish parents. After winning the 3rd season of TV's "The Voice Australia", she aimed to fulfill an ambition to represent Denmark at Eurovision. In 2016, she made the national selection where she finished as the runner-up. A second attempt in 2017 saw Anja achieve her goal. "Where I Am" was selected as the Danish entry. She qualified for the Grand Final where she finished 20th.
