3AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young. Ed Sheeran dominated the charts around the world. Latin pop and EDM made further inroads into the mainstream.
As “Game Of Thrones” headed towards its final season, ‘The Last Jedi’ premiered.

Disciples
British dance production trio Disciples released "On My Mind" in February and reached #15 in the UK. The track charted high in Poland and Belgium while cracking the Top 40 in other European nations.

SLOW HANDS
Niall Horan
"Slow Hands" was co-written by One Direction's Niall Horan. The track was an international hit, reaching #2 in Australia and making the Top 10 in Britain, Canada and New Zealand. It peaked at #11 in the USA.

The Weeknd
"Secrets" is another of the standout tracks on 'Starboy'. It is built around samples from 2 past hits: Tears For Fears'  "Pale Shelter" and The Romantics' "Talking In Your Sleep".

Charlie Puth
American musician Charlie Puth continued adding to his hit streak in 2017 with the single "How Long". He produced and co-wrote the track which made the Top 10 in Mexico, Philippines, Europe and Israel.

The Removalists
American rock group The Removalists fared well on the Alternative Chart. The band celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017.
