BETCHA BY GOLLY WOW
The first cover version released as a single by Prince was "Betcha By Golly Wow" in 1996. Written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed, the love song was an international smash for R&B group The Stylistics in 1972. Prince's remake was included on his 'Emancipation' album. The single climbed to #11 in Britain.

MONEY DON’T MATTER 2 NIGHT
The 'Diamonds And Pearls' album hatched 6 singles. "Money Don't Matter 2 Night" was the 5th. The song charted on both sides of the Atlantic.

BATDANCE
Prince created the 1989 soundtrack album for Tim Burton's new film adaptation of 'Batman'. "Batdance" contains several samples from the film including quotes from cast members Jack Nicholson, Michael Keaton and Kim Basinger. The single topped the R&B, Dance and Pop chart in America and climbed to #2 in the UK.

The first Prince album credited to the love symbol, 'The Gold Experience' was unleashed in 1995. "Gold" made the British Top 10.
