Love Me

Yvonne Elliman enjoyed worldwide success with "If I Can't Have You", a hit lifted off the 'Saturday Night Fever' soundtrack album. The Bee Gees wrote the song. Before achieving that hit single, Elliman had charted in many countries with another remake of a Bee Gees song.
"Love Me" was issued in 1976. It climbed to #6 in Britain and reached #14 in America. The cover was also a hit in Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Brothers Barry and Robin Gibb penned the ballad. The trio had recorded the original version which was included on The Bee Gees' 1976 album 'Children Of The World'.
