Trivia: Lesley Gore had enjoyed success in her own right with the 1960s singles "It's My Party" and "You Don't Own Me". She co-wrote the Oscar-nominated "Out Here On My Own" with her brother Michael Gore for the film 'Fame'.  It lost to the movie's title song.
