A RANKING OF THE 41 SONGS FROM EUROVISION 2019.

This post: The countdown concludes with the Top 3.

EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2019
THE 41 SONGS
(ranked in order of preference)

The Eurovision Song Contest begins in Tel Aviv on May 14. Two semi-finals will see 35 songs reduced to 20 and join last year’s winning nation Israel alongside the pre-qualified ‘Big 5’ countries (France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom & Germany) in the Grand Final 4 days later.
The songs are ranked in order of song quality, starting with the weakest of the 41 entries. Preferences may change once they are performed live during the Semi-Finals.

1 A blue field with the Union Flag in the upper hoist quarter, a large white seven-pointed star in the lower hoist quarter, and constellation of five white stars in the fly – one small five-pointed star and four, larger, seven-pointed stars.
AUSTRALIA
ZERO GRAVITY
KATE MILLER-HEIDKE
The Australian entry will be performed in English during Semi-Final 1. This is the best offering yet from Australia. It is perfect for Eurovision and deserves to stand out from the pack. ”Zero Gravity” should qualify for the Grand Final. Hopefully, the backlash against Australia’s inclusion in the ESC will not disadvantage a strong song.

2 Flag of Norway
NORWAY
SPIRIT IN THE SKY
KEIINO
“Spirit In The Sky” will be one of the last songs heard  during Semi-Final 2. There is tough competition in this field, but Norway should make it through to the Grand Final with this energetic song. The Norwegian entry blends Europop with Nordic folk music and joik (the music of the Sami people from the Laplands). The song is mostly in English with some lyrics in Sami. It deserves to win.
3Flag of Sweden
SWEDEN
TOO LATE FOR LOVE
JOHN LUNDVIK
Sweden rarely disappoints at Eurovision. The country takes the contest seriously as an opportunity to showcase the wealth of its musical talent. This year’s Swedish entry will be performed in English during Semi-Final 2. Lundvik is a talented vocalis and this should ensure his song qualifies for the Grand Final. He co-wrote the song which has a feel that has hints of gospel, pop and soul. If there is justice in the world, “Too Late For Love” will finish high.
