Trivia: The group Night enjoyed 2 Top 20 hit singles on the US Hot 100. "Hot Summer Nights" was a remake of a Walter Egan song. Night's cover was produced by Richard Perry. The band included female vocalist Stevie Lange, frequent Rolling Stones pianist Nicky Hopkins and Chris Thompson. The latter sang lead on the American #1 hit "Blinded By The Light" from Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
