ESC HISTORY & STATISTICS: COUNTRIES YET TO WIN EUROVISION.
EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2019
THE HISTORY & STATISTICS
Eurovision Song Contest 2019 logo.png
Eurovision began in 1956. The first winning country was Switzerland. Since then, various nations have tasted victory, including Ireland and its record 7 wins.
As Europe changed, some countries such as Yugoslavia ceased to exist and new nations have emerged.  Among this year’s 41 participants, only 22 have achieved a win. In 2017, Portugal ended its long wait on its 49th attempt!
