Trivia: Bonnie Tyler had enjoyed chart success in the 1970s with "Lost In France" and the #1 "It's A Heartache". She revived her career with "Total Eclipse Of The Heart", which soon became her biggest hit. The epic power ballad was written and produced by Jim Steinman who had previously written the songs on Meat Loaf's classic album 'Bat Out Of Hell'.
