This was the lead single for the ‘In Square Circle’
album. Stevie performed all the instruments. He recruited Luther Vandross to
help on lead vocals. Syreeta and Philip Bailey (Earth, Wind & Fire) also
contributed background vocals. This proved to be a very successful single for
Stevie, reaching #1 in America, Canada, New Zealand and many European
countries. The song holds the distinction of being the first to top 5 different
Billboard charts: Pop, R&B, Adult Contemporary, Dance /Club and Dance/
Disco 12” Sales.
