EUROVISION 2021: THE 39 SONGS (RANKED IN ORDER OF QUALITY).

Today: #35. More: tomorrow.

EUROVISION 2021

THE 39 SONGS:

(in order of preference)

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

39- PORTUGAL; 38- SLOVENIA; 37- LATVIA; 36 - RUSSIA

SHUM

Ukraine

The official cover for "Shum"

Ukraine has won at Eurovision twice, most recently in 2016 with “1944”. The country has always progressed to the Grand Final. That impressive record may come to an end this year. “Shum” is a mess. In Semi-Final 1, it will face tough competition, but bloc voting may come to its rescue. Another advantage will be its place in the running order:  this is the penultimate entry to be performed.
