EUROVISION 2021

THE 39 SONGS

(in order of preference)

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

AMEN

Vincent Bueno

Austria

The official cover for "Amen"

Austria has won Eurovision twice: in 1966 and 2014. Vincent Bueno was selected to represent Austria in 2020. “Amen” is a better song than last year's "Alive", allowing him to vocally stretch further. The Austrian entry will be performed in English during Semi-Final 2 which may help take it into the Grand Final. It will not secure Austria a third victory, but deserves to qualify for ESC’s big night. It is the best of the 2 songs entitled “Amen” competing this year.
