EUROVISION 2021

THE 39 SONGS

(in order of preference)

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

39- PORTUGAL; 38- SLOVENIA; 37- LATVIA; 36 – RUSSIA; 35- UKRAINE; 34- ROMANIA;

33- ESTONIA; 32- GEORGIA; 31- SERBIA; 30- ALBANIA; 29- NETHERLANDS;

#13

10 YEARS

Da∂i og Gagnamagni∂

Iceland

The official cover for "10 Years"

 Iceland was one of the strong contenders for a first victory at Eurovision in 2020. Although the ESC was cancelled, Da∂i Freyr is back this year with a new song. Unfortunately, the 2020 entry was superior. The quirky delivery and stage performance in 2021 is just a rehash which will hinder its chances. “10 Years” will be sung in English and is competing in Semi-Final 2, which will be advantageous, but Iceland will have to wait longer for its first ESC triumph.
