EUROVISION 2021: THE 39 SONGS (RANKED IN ORDER OF QUALITY).

Today: #36. More: tomorrow.

EUROVISION 2021

THE 39 SONGS:

(in order of preference)

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

39- PORTUGAL; 38- SLOVENIA; 37- LATVIA

#36

RUSSIAN WOMAN

Russia

Performed in Russian and English, the song will be the third song competing in Semi-Final 1. Russia has played Eurovision strategically and has done so again in 2021. Last year’s “Uno” was one of the best. The same cannot be said about this shambolic entry. Bloc voting helps Russia but disdain for Putin often disadvantages the Russian entry. This deserves to be culled, but you can never underestimate the power of bloc voting.
