"Always On My Mind" has been a hit for a diverse group of musical acts, including Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson and The Pet Shop Boys. Country legend Nelson's version was produced by Chips Moman, who also produced an earlier version recorded by its co-writer Mark James. Moman co- produced Presley's hit "Suspicious Minds", which was also penned by James.
