GREATEST LEAD SINGERS

🎤Paul McCartney

[The Beatles; Wings]

McCartney is ranked higher than his fellow Beatles collaborator John Lennon simply because he continues recording and touring to this day. Sadly, the latter was deprived of this possibility when he was assassinated 4 decades ago. Among McCartney’s best vocals as a Beatle are the classics “Helter Skelter”, “Let It Be”, “Yesterday”, “Eleanor Rigby”, “Hey Jude”, “All My Loving”, “Here, There And Everywhere” and “Get Back”. After The Beatles, he formed Wings and sang lead on that group's hits such as “Live And Let Die”, “Venus And Mars”, “Silly Love Songs”, “Band On The Run” and “Mull Of Kintyre”. He has continued creating music as a soloist in recent decades.
