Issued shortly after the first release of "Rock Around The Clock", Bill Haley was poised for international success in 1954 with the hit "Dim, Dim The Lights". The following year, the former was used in the film 'The Blackboard Jungle' and was re-issued. It became a global smash and made Haley one of rock's first stars.
