1961, this soul staple topped the R&B Chart and peaked at #4 Pop in America
for Ben E. King. A film with the same title premiered in 1986. The motion
picture featured King’s original. This led to its re-issue. King was featured in a music video that also starred various cast members, including River Phoenix. The single topped
the British and Canadian charts. In America, the disc returned to the Top 10,
where it climbed to #9.The track also benefitted from its use in a Levi's ad campaign around that time.
