CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1799 DREAM POLICE Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen's "Dream Police" blasted out of radios in 1979 with its power-pop energy. The song was the title track from the band's album that year. While it only climbed to #26 in the USA, the single made the Top 10 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

#1800 1-2-3 Len Barry
Len Barry (aka Leonard Borisoff) scored a 1965 US #2 and UK #1 with "1-2-3". He co-wrote it with producers John Madara and David White. Motown's Holland/ Dozier/ Holland, finding it too similar to their "Ask Any Girl" (The Supremes), sued. They are now included as co-writers.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along with climbing among the remaining Top 100 each day, 2 new songs ranked in positions 1501-2000 will also be added daily.
