CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1779 GET DOWN ON IT Kool & The Gang
Kool & The Gang dropped 1 of the best 80s R&B party favourites with "Get Down On It". Although mostly composed by James Taylor and Ronald Bell, all the members of the group contributed. Issued as a single in 1981, it reached #10 in the US and peaked at #3 in the UK and New Zealand.

#1780 BONAPARTE'S RETREAT Glen Campbell
Pee Wee King created "Bonaparte's Retreat" and scored a country hit in 1950 with the original version. Glen Campbell's 1974 remake  reached #3 on the US Country Chart and topped the Canadian equivalent. In Australia, the disc became a #4 pop crossover hit.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along with climbing among the remaining Top 100 each day, 2 new songs ranked in positions 1501-2000 will also be added daily.
