ABBA recorded their 'Waterloo' LP during the period October 1973- January 1974.  The album's major ballad was "Gonna Sing You My Lovesong", penned by the 2 male members of the group: Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. They also produced the track. Frida Lyngstad performed the lead vocals, accompanied expertly by Agnetha Faltskog. The LP was released in 1974, the year its title track triumphed at the Eurovision Song Contest.
