Senegalese performer Youssou N'Dour collaborated with Swedish -born hip hop/ dance soloist Neneh Cherry on 1 of the most interesting singles of the 1990s. The track was co-written by the 2 with Cameron McVey and Jonathan Sharp. The latter 2 are regular contributors to Cherry's songbook and produced this international hit. 
Released as a single in 1994, the song reached the Top 10 in several European countries, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. It was included on albums released around that time by the 2 singers: Cherry's 'Man' and N'Dour's 'Wommat' (aka 'The Guide'). It is sung in Wolof (a Senegalese language) and French and English.
