Army of Lovers are a Swedish group that formed in 1987, with pivotal member Alexander Bard. One year later, the camp group was already popular. In 1991, "Crucified" was issued as the 1st single from the group's 'Massive Luxury Overdose' album. Written by Bard with bandmate Jean-Pierre Barda and producer Anders Wollbeck; the track reached the Top 10 in various European countries. Army of Lovers went on hiatus in the mid-1990s. Bard went on to form BWO and Gravitonas.
