REVOLVER: THE BEATLES
Revolver.jpg
 [1966]
The Beatles had established a high bar with 'Rubber Soul' in 1965. Its follow-up proved to contain even more musical explorations. Critically, 'Revolver' has justifiably been lauded as one of the high points of the band's catalogue. It is a brazen collection of songs, packed with sonic experimentation at a time when few would dare to do so to the extent that The Beatles did on this classic album. If any Beatles LP stands the test of time, it is easily 'Revolver'. A listen to its tracks makes the album's influence on countless subsequent groups undeniable. Highlight tracks: Eleanor Rigby, Got To Get You Into My Life & Here, There and Everywhere.
