MUSIC: MADONNA
Music Madonna.png
 [2000]
Madonna has always been at her best when she pushed the boundaries of dance and pop music. She has been astute enough to recognize new trends before they became mainstream. On 'Music', Madonna again pulls off this trick. She teams up with the talented French dance producer Mirwais. The result is a unique collection of exciting aural delights. Few pop stars have the bravery to take such risks, but Madonna seems to not only embrace this; she thrives. 'Music' contains many sonic adventures for the listener. Mirwais employs synth grooves, vocoder effects and trip hop to recreate a new sound for Madonna. The album also serves as a creative progression from the preceding release 'Ray Of Light'. Highlight tracks: Nobody's Perfect; Music & What It Feels Like For A Girl.
