Women were dominating the music charts. Led by Madonna, Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul, others followed in the wake of these performers, including: Lisa Stansfield, Sinead O'Connor, Alannah Myles, Oleta Adams and Mariah Carey. Faith No More scored a hit with "Epic"; a song that fused many musical styles together. Lenny Kravitz and Living Colour draw from various styles too. The Righteous Brothers' classic "Unchained Melody" was used to great effect in the hit film 'Ghost'.
