A RANKING OF THE 41 SONGS FROM EUROVISION 2019.

This post: #14. Continues tomorrow.

EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2019
THE 41 SONGS
(ranked in order of preference)

The Eurovision Song Contest begins in Tel Aviv on May 14. Two semi-finals will see 35 songs reduced to 20 and join last year’s winning nation Israel alongside the pre-qualified ‘Big 5’ countries (France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom & Germany) in the Grand Final 4 days later.
The songs are ranked in order of song quality, starting with the weakest of the 41 entries. Preferences may change once they are performed live during the Semi-Finals.

14 RUSSIA
SCREAM
SERGEY LAZAREV
Performed in English, the Russian entry is competing in Semi-Final 2. Lazarev is returning to the Eurovision stage after delivering one of the Contest’s most impressive presentations. “Scream” is not as strong as his 2016 entry “You Are The Only One”, but I’m expecting another breathtaking live performance. His powerful vocal should also complement the song. Russia should easily qualify and is a favourite to win. The only disadvantage it will face is resistance simply due to politics. Russia and Vladimir Putin creates division at the ESC. The country’s abuse of its gay citizens would also discourage Eurovision visitors from other nations. Either way, "Scream" should finish high.
