THE 41 SONGS

(ranked in order of preference)

The Eurovision Song Contest begins in Tel Aviv on May 14. Two semi-finals will see 35 songs reduced to 20 and join last year’s winning nation Israel alongside the pre-qualified ‘Big 5’ countries (France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom & Germany) in the Grand Final 4 days later.

The songs are ranked in order of song quality, starting with the weakest of the 41 entries. Preferences may change once they are performed live during the Semi-Finals.

LUCA HANNI

The Swiss entry will be performed in English during Semi-Final 2. This is shaping up as one of the strong contenders and momentum should build once Luca Hänni unleashes his charisma on the Eurovision stage. This upbeat party song deserves to make it into the Grand Final and could be the “Fuego” of 2019 or the ultimate victor.
