Trivia:

"Every Beat Of My Heart" was a remake of a song written by Johnny Otis recorded as the debut chart single for Gladys Knight & The Pips. The group's original version was issued on the Huntom label and later leased to Vee-Jay. This single topped Billboard's R&B Chart. A new version was re-recorded and released on the Fury label and reached #15 on the same chart in 1961.
