CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#737 WITH YOUR LOVE Donna Summer
With the popular appeal and success of the award-winning "Last Dance", other standouts from the 'Thank God It's Friday' movie soundtrack tend to be overlooked. True, the double album had plenty of filler, but there were some worthy songs from the likes of The Commodores, Diana Ross, Thelma Houston and Pattie Brooks. Donna Summer contributed 3 songs to the film soundtrack: a bonus track which is her remake of "Je T'Aime (Moi Non Plus)", the hit "Last Dance" and "With Your Love".
The latter was written by Summer with producers Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte. It's yet another example of disco at its best. The film was set in a discotheque named The Zoo. Released in 1978, the movie did not capitalize on the appeal of 'Saturday Night Fever'. In some ways, the film's patchy songs and lightweight plotline heralded the impending decline of disco.
