CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

Mid-week bonus - 1 new song will be added every 6 hours throughout today
#394 ISN'T IT TIME The Babys
Forming in London in 1976, The Babys enjoyed a few years in the spotlight and, for 2 of its members, the group served as a springboard for further success. The group scored a hit with "Isn't It Time". Featuring exciting lead vocals from John Waite, the love song was penned by country music legend Ray Kennedy and Jack Conrad. The former released his version of the song years later. Ron Nevison produced The Babys' version.
"Isn't It Time" was issued in 1977 and by the following year, it had topped the Australian chart as well as peaking at #13 in America, but only reached #45 in Britain. The Babys' sound proved to be more appealing to US audiences than in their homeland. This was the 1st of 2 Top 20 hits for the band.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
