Kylie Minogue recorded her remake of "Under the Influence of Love" in Dublin for inclusion on her 2000 album 'Light Years'. The original version was by Barry White, who co-wrote the R&B song with Paul Politi. It was featured on his 1974 album 'No Limit On Love'. 
The Australian actress/ singer's cover was produced by Richard "Biff" Stannard and Julian Gallagher. The strings that are integral to to the track were arranged and conducted by Simon Hale. He also performed keyboards on the recording.
