CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

Mid-week bonus - 1 new song will be added every 8 hours throughout today
#331 THIS LOVE Maroon 5
By the time Maroon 5 struck gold with their hit song "This Love" in 2004, the song had been out in the public arena for 2 years. It was first released as 1 of the tracks on the group's debut album 'Songs About Jane'.
The group formed in 1999 from the ashes of Kara's Flowers. The L.A. band's lead singer Adam Levine and keyboardist Jesse Carmichael co-wrote the bulk of what became their 1st album. Issued in 2002, the album percolated while it struggled for attention. First single "Harder To Breathe" finally caught on with the public.
"This Love", penned by the 2 group members, was selected for the follow-up single. The track was produced by Matt Wallace and Mark Endert. By now, Maroon 5 had arrived. The single reached the Top 10 in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Venezuela.
Maroon 5 have been consistent chart stars since 2004. Subsequent hits have included "She Will Be Loved", "Makes Me Wonder" (US #1), "Moves Like Jagger"(US #1), "Payphone" (UK #1) and "One More Night" (US #1).

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
