CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#370 COLD AS ICE Foreigner
1977 saw Foreigner burst through with powerful rock anthems such as "Feels Like The First Time", "Long, Long Way From Home" and "Cold as Ice" All 3 hits were found on their self-titled debut album, unleashed in 1977.
The latter was penned by the group's lead singer Lou Gramm and guitarist Mick Jones. Production was handled by John Sinclair and Gary Lyons with input from Jones and Ian McDonald. The latter also performed guitars, keyboards, horns and background vocals on the track. "Cold As Ice" established Foreigner as 1 of the new arena rock outfits. The single peaked at #6 in America, 24 in Britain, 9 in Canada and 32 in Australia.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
