As countries begin selecting their entries for the Eurovision Song Contest in May, this blog will look back on the stats and the best from each of the 43 participating nations.

DENMARK

Denmark's Eurovision debut was in the contest's 2nd year. In 1957, the country started impressively, earning a 3rd place. Out of 45 Danish entries, there have been 3 wins. 

Emmelie de Forest gave Denmark its most recent triumph, with "Only Teardrops" in 2013. 

Its 2017 entry will be revealed in late February.
