Hard rock hallelujah.jpg2016 marked the 50th year of Finnish participation at Eurovision. The catchy "Sing It Away" failed to progress further than the 1st Semi Final last year.
Since its debut back in 1961, Finland has tasted victory only once- in 2006, with Lordi's "Hard Rock Hallelujah". The song remains one of the most memorable ESC songs.
The 2017 Finnish entry will be announced on January 28, one of the 1st to be locked in for this year's semi-finals.
