Album: Live Across Australia
"Sixty Years On" first appeared as a studio recording on the 1970 album 'Elton John'. The live version is listed here. The ballad, co-written by Elton with Bernie Taupin, features the keyboardist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in concert in Sydney.

HEALING HANDS
Year: 1989
Album: Sleeping With The Past
The 'Sleeping With The Past' album was recorded in Denmark. "Healing Hands" is a gospel/ soul drenched song composed by Elton and Taupin. The track topped the US AC Chart.

Year: 1992
Album: The One
The title track from 'The One' is a sweeping ballad written by Elton and Taupin. The album was dedicated to the former's recently deceased friend Vance Buck.

LUCY IN THE SKY WITH
DIAMONDS
Year: 1974
Album: Elton John's Greatest Hits Volume II
Elton released his remake of The Beatles' "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" after the 'Caribou' album. His cover version features John Lennon on guitar. The single topped the American and Canadian charts. It was included on the subsequent compilation LP 'Greatest Hits Volume II' in 1977.

"I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That" peaked at #2 on the US chart. Chris Thomas produced the track Taupin wrote with Elton.

Year: 1985
Album: Ice On Fire
With a blasting horn section, "Soul Glove" evokes memories of funk and soul on this album track from 'Ice On Fire'. Gus Dudgeon handled production. Elton co-wrote the song with Taupin.

TEACHER I NEED YOU
Year: 1973
Album: Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player
'Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player' became Elton's 2nd US #1 album. "Teacher I Need You" deals with a schoolboy crush on his teacher. The album's tracks were all written by Elton and Taupin.

ALL THE GIRLS LOVE ALICE
Year: 1973
Album: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Taupin's lyrics for "All The Girls Love Alice" reveal the secrets of a teenage girl that winds up dead in the subway by the song's end. Elton composed the music. Kiki Dee sang background vocals on the cut.
