CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#575 WARM RIDE Graham Bonnet
British singer Graham Bonnet enjoyed a #5 hit in his homeland as a member of the group The Marbles with the single "Only One Woman" in 1968. He launched a solo career in 1977 which saw him chart in Australia with a cover of the Bob Dylan song "It's All Over Now Baby Blue". That single climbed to #3. In 1978, Bonnet fared even better when "Warm Ride" peaked at #2 here.
The song was written by The Bee Gees. Their younger brother Andy Gibb recorded a version of the song for his 1980 LP 'After Dark'. A version by its composers was included on the 2010 compilation  'Mythology: The 50th Anniversary Collection'.
Bonnet's solo career has regularly been put on hold while he joined various groups such as Rainbow and Australia's The Party Boys. His most recent solo release was 'The Day I Went Mad' in 2001 which mostly consisted of songs written by Jo Eime.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
